当空气中已经渐渐弥漫甜甜的桃花清香时，我们满怀欢喜地迎接着百年不遇的疫情之后的第一个春天。我们的网络课堂也在这个美好的旭日阳光里迎接来了第一个嘉宾，一个朝气蓬勃，才华横溢，温婉善良的美国西北大学大学生— 瑶瑶!
While the sweet fragrance of peach blossoms filled the air, we greeted the first spring after the unprecedented epidemic with joy. Our online classroom also welcomed its first guest—Yao Yao, a versatile, talented, warm, and kind Northwestern University sophomore, to kick off the session of “ See the World with Me”.
为了让同学们更好的了解自己，为了在网络课堂当天更好的与学校互动，细心的瑶瑶认真准备了一段自我介绍的录像。
YaoYao prepared a self-introduction video beforehand to help students from Deyi Wanxiao understand who she was.
瑶瑶学习成绩出众，又擅长芭蕾，小提琴，在美国长大，中文讲得顶呱呱。同时在美国著名大学学习双学位，参加各种各样的社团活动，生活可谓丰富，紧张，又精彩。 同学们非常好奇她是如何安排她的生活，把这么多事情做的这么好。观看下面的录像我们一起去发现瑶瑶的秘密武器吧！
After watching her self-introduction video, we were even more eager to know how she grew up to be such a wonderful young woman. She was born in the US, but speaks fluent Chinese with her parents. She loves ballet, and never gave it up, even when her first ballet teacher didn’t see the talent in her. Her violin performances have touched many peoples’ hearts. At school, her life is very busy with double majors at Northwestern University, but she still volunteers and helps others often. The students at Deyi Wanxiao were curious about how she manages her time to do so many things.
瑶瑶做计划的好习惯给每个人留下了深刻的印象，如此自律的生活学习，把每一天过得都非常精彩，实在让我们羡慕，且值得学习。 同学们看了瑶瑶姐姐的录像介绍后，积极踊跃地准备并向瑶瑶姐姐问问题，也是非常落落大方，哪里听出 一丝胆怯，为他们骄傲！
It turns out YaoYao’s secret weapon is her discipline and good study habits. She plans every day on a notebook and follows through diligently. The students at Deyi Wanxiao elementary were inspired to overcome their hesitance from the beginning and asked questions to YaoYao.
张老师一直希望引导得宜完小的孩子们学习更多的才艺，感谢瑶瑶姐姐在网络课堂上展示了她的小提琴和芭蕾舞表演。美轮美奂的琴声，舞姿让这个春天如此的不一般，更让人陶醉了。
Together, we watched a video clip of an amazing violin performance by YaoYao accompanied by ballet dancers. The stunning beauty of the music and ballet simply took our breath away.
一年前得宜完小的同学们不会想到会有这样的机会和倘塘外面的世界有这样面对面交流。我们的网络课堂非常高兴做他们的铺路石，给孩子们创造更多的机会，一步步实现我们的初衷愿景—带给每个孩子走出学校走向未来的自信，陪伴他们一个五颜六色的童年。
Nobody at Deyi WanXiao elementary ever thought they would have such an opportunity to see the world outside. The small town which Deyi WanXiao elementary is in is surround by mountains and isolated, sometimes neglected by the modern world. Today, from the excitement on kids’ faces, we know that we are doing the right thing by reaching out to this school and setting up Liangqiao Channel from scratch.
