得宜完小的老师们同学们，牛年到了，你们在寒假里休息好，玩得开心吗？我们在美国一直想念着大家，祝大家牛年牛气冲天，身体棒棒，心想事成！
Mrs. Zhang has volunteered at her kids’ schools for years. Her favorite volunteer work is to teach art. When every Chinese New Year approaches, she always seizes the opportunity to introduce Chinese culture and tradition to American kids and teachers. One year she was inspired by her good friend and taught two classes on how to make the Chinese dragon craft to celebrate Chinese New Year. You can see one of them in the picture below. Everybody loved it. So, Mrs. Zhang decided to teach the kids at Deyi WanXiao to do the same dragon craft for this year after they came back from winter break. I cannot wait to see how it turns out.
牛年的好运气需要大家一起努力，所以寒假后的第一次课我们要大家齐心协力做一个大型手工-中国龙。张老师两年前在美国小学带同学们做过，每个老师和孩子都很喜欢，我们来看看如何做吧。
第一步：每位同学在彩纸上画出自己的双手手印。
Step 1. Draw the handprint on colored paper
第二步：把手印剪出来。
Step 2. Cut the handprint out
最后，把每个同学的两个手印汇聚在一起，摆成龙身的形状，粘贴好就可以啦！下面是我们2018年在小学校和同学们一起庆祝新年做的。大家可以参考。
Step 3. Lay out and glue all handprints as dragon’s body onto an either black or white paper. Add the dragon head and tail
