当美国小朋友们喝着热巧克力过圣诞时候，得宜完小的师生们每天忙碌准备着一年一度的元旦庆典. 这也是张老师第一次看到学校的元旦表演，看到精神饱满的孩子们乐队，舞蹈，篮球，手语这么多这么精彩表演，不禁感慨得宜完小过去15年翻天覆地的变化，感谢远在大山里的老师们的无私辛苦的付出，真心为他们兴高采烈地过了这么开心的新年感到由衷的欣慰！
Our online class took a break towards the end of 2021, giving way to the preparation of the new year party, the annual celebration the teachers and students have worked hard on for weeks. It is the first time for Mrs. Zhang to see how Deyi WanXiao Elementary welcomed the New Year from the pictures and videos. The marching band, basketball drills, various dance performances, and smiles on kids’ faces put together an amazing New Year celebration, which started as a ritual only three years ago. Many positive changes are taking place in Deyi WanXiao. We are proud to be part of it.
2022 started with another Covid surge and many uncertainties ahead. It seems hard to come up with the right words to express new year wishes. Let’s all take a deep breath, enjoy the excellent performance from Deyi WanXiao, and think of the new year as an opportunity for everyone to reinvigorate our enthusiasm for the future. We are all together! Happy New Year of 2022!
